Bored, I ventured into the Internet to read something and I found this on Salon. In the U.S., apparently, there is this emerging therapy called reparative theraphy which aims to make homosexuals, heterosexuals. In this school of thought, homosexuality is seen as a psychological disorder, the desire for men, (or women, if you're a lesbian) a neurosis.
Barry Levy, a Christian counselor, cited in the article says: "Homosexuality is not just another flower in God's garden. This is something that happens to people that can be fixed. And if someone comes seeking relief from this suffering, we would be wrong not to offer them relief."
